Tyler Hooper serves as the Executive Director of United Way of Cullman County, bringing more than a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, community partnerships, and mission driven leadership.

Tyler has deep roots in Cullman County and grew up in Hanceville, which he proudly calls his hometown. He attended Sacred Heart School, graduated from St. Bernard Preparatory School, and later earned his degree from Samford University. Being raised in this community helped shape his strong foundation of faith, service, and commitment to helping others, values that continue to guide his work today.

Throughout his career, Tyler has been dedicated to strengthening communities through thoughtful leadership and meaningful relationships. He has served in leadership roles with REV Birmingham, as Chief Development Officer at St. Bernard Preparatory School, and most recently as Director of Development for The Birmingham Promise. In these roles, he helped build strong partnerships, led major gift initiatives, and secured important funding to support programs that make a lasting difference.

Tyler cares deeply about the communities United Way serves. He believes in the power of neighbors working together to support one another and is passionate about helping United Way continue to grow its impact for individuals and families across Cullman and Winston counties.

As Executive Director, Tyler is focused on strengthening partnerships, expanding opportunities, and working alongside donors, volunteers, and local organizations to build a stronger future for the communities United Way of Cullman County proudly serves.
